A Different Approach

Not long ago, search engines like Google made significant adjustments to their algorithms, exposing those without genuine knowledge of the industry, virtually overnight. This momentous change also put the spotlight on the few elite agencies that were still able to deliver measurable results. When the dust settled, a team of experts joined forces and launched Dymic Digital.

The Power of An SEO Audit

Search Engines use algorithms with certain ranking factors to prioritize their results. And SEO is the practice of optimizing for those factors. With this in mind, we will perform a specialized SEO audit of your website to evaluate the most important elements impacting your visibility online. Once your baseline report is established, we customize an optimization strategy to deliver you the highest rankings in the least amount of time and for the lowest possible cost.

What do you need for good rankings?

It’s not difficult to ensure your website will be indexed by a search engine, but it can be very challenging to ensure it’s listed in association with specific keywords. Generally speaking, search engines look at four things: rank, authority, relevance and the technical elements of your website.

Rank

Rank is the position your website is placed on the search engine results pages for particular keyword searches. Your rank indicates how relevant your website is for a search term, and what authority it has from the search engine’s perspective. Your ranking is based on a number of factors — website speed, page errors, and inbound links are just a few examples that impact your online visibility (or lack thereof). Optimizing your website in these areas can not only improve its rank, it also creates a better user experience.

Authority

Search engines determine the authority and credibility of a website’s content, using factors such as the type and quality of inbound links from other websites. However, a large number of inbound links doesn’t necessarily result in a high ranking. Search engines also check the authority of sites linked to you, the context of the link, and the anchor text being used. Another key factor in defining authority is the age of your domain. Older sites typically have a higher trust factor.

Relevance

Relevance is one of the most important ranking factors. Search engines not only detect that you are using certain keywords, they also look for clues as to how relevant your content is to a particular search query. In addition to the actual text on your web pages, search engines also examine their structure, the use of keywords in your URLs, the formatting of the page (such as the use of bold font), and which keywords appear in the title and in the body of the text, etc.

Technical Issues

Search engines also analyze (in great detail) the technical aspects of your website. For example, how quickly your site loads plays a major role in your website ranking. That means good coding on your website is very important. Additional technical factors that can impact your website’s findability include; header tags, meta description, keywords in image alt tags, schema markup and mobile responsiveness.

SEO is the practice of increasing both the quality and quantity of website traffic, as well as exposure to your brand, through non-paid (also known as “organic”) search engine results.

When people are faced with a problem, challenge, or even a choice, they turn to Google to find the answers… And this has changed consumer behavior forever. In fact, more people use search engines to find products or services than any other marketing channel in the world.

It’s true… Google is a moving target. “Keeping our finger on the pulse” is a top priority at Dymic Digital, which is why we regularly attend the largest online marketing conferences in the country. Just like tax attorneys must know all about the ever-changing laws in their industry, it is essential that we do constant research in ours to effectively develop cutting-edge methodologies.

One area often overlooked is your company’s reputation on the web. Most businesses today have poor star ratings on review sites since it’s usually only the unhappy customers that are motivated enough to publish a review online. A Harvard study recently showed that each star rating a business loses or gains can swing their sales in either direction by 5-9%. While more traffic to your website is certainly appealing, you must also consider how the image of your brand is impacting your conversation rates. This is why we recommend our Review Management System to nearly all of our clients.
